Get to Know Sharon Vincenty
DMD, MDS
Dr. Sharon Vincenty ’s mission is to provide comprehensive dental care to all patients in an environment that is reassuringly safe, pleasant, and comfortable.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Vincenty was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey. She then traded sand for snow to move to the northeast to pursue her dream of becoming a dentist. She earned her dental doctorate degree (DMD) at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and completed a rigorous three-year Post-Graduate specialty training in Prosthodontics and a Masters in Dental Science at the same institution.
What Kind of Advanced Dental Training Do You Have?
Dr. Vincenty’s focus is to ensure her patients feel comfortable and confident receiving comprehensive, long-term and high-quality dental care. She has experience in digital dentistry, performing simple to complex tooth-borne rehabilitations, is certified in placement and restoration of dental implants, and is in the process of fulfilling her board certification from the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Outside of the Dental Office,
What Do You Like to Do?
During her free time, Dr. Vincenty enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family and friends. She also loves playing board games, going to the beach, enjoys attending baseball games, traveling, and likes arts and crafts. Her greatest kryptonite is puppies/dogs!
