Dr. Mariano received his D.M.D. Degree as well as his post-doctoral training in Prosthodontics from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston. His practice, which is limited to prosthodontics, was established in 1984. Dr. Mariano continues to enjoy a professional relationship with Tufts Dental School as he serves on the faculty as Assistant Clinical Professor in Postgraduate Prosthodontics. Dr. Mariano is one of fewer than 1,000 American Board Certified Prosthodontists in the U.S. He is an active member of The American College of Prosthodontists, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, The Greater NY Academy of Prosthodontics, The American Academy of Osseointegration (implants), The American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, and the Charitable Alumni Organization, Inc., a non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting Tufts Prosthodontics from its Alumni throughout the world. He is also active in his local dental society, having served as chairman of the Valley District Dental Society Education Committee since 1992. He is responsible for bringing internationally recognized clinicians from around the world to Massachusetts for dental education programs.
