EMA Prosthodontics

Prosthodontists are specialists in the restoration and replacement of teeth and surrounding dental structures. The doctors at EMA Prosthodontics are specialty-trained in esthetics, crowns, bridgework, dentures and dental implants.

The Prosthodontists at EMA Dental have trained for three additional years following dental school to become a specialist in the unique field of Prosthodontics, one of the nine specialty fields in dentistry. EMA Prosthodontics is the only Prosthodontic Group in Western Massachusetts.

Further, Dr. Vincent Mariano is the only board certified Prosthodontist in Western Massachusetts and Dr. Thomas Vergo is the only Maxillofacial Prosthodontist in Western Massachusetts.

Dr. Mariano and Dr. Vergo have affiliations with the Tufts Prosthodontic Specialty Program in Boston and the UCONN Prosthodontic Program in Connecticut.

Presently there are approximately 3,000 trained Prosthodontists in the U.S. with just over 1,000 of those being board certified. EMA Dental is proud to be able to offer the highest level of prosthodontic specialty treatment in our practices in East Longmeadow, Northampton and Springfield, Massachusetts.
